Unfortunately Ionic View doesn't support iosrtc or crosswalk plugins so It won't work. Eventually I will make a YouTube video of it, though you can see every screen in the screenshots above.

It does not support push for Ionic 1, but will be published next week to the Ionic 2 version. There is not a place to demo the app currently.

So does it mean with v1 , a chat message delivery doesn't pop up in the android /ios device? I am inclined toward v1 base due to its acceptability and wide support base, however notification of a new message is something that is required. is there plan to add the same with v1 as well in future ?

It is fully Android compatible! iosrtc is used for iOS, and Crosswalk is used for Android. Both plugins enable WebRTC for their respective devices. Because it is WebRTC, it also works on Chrome, and can even be bundled using Electron for desktop!

It should be compatible with Android > 4 and iOS > 8, but I haven't tested on anything that old. The oldest versions I have tested on are Android 5.1.1 and iOS 9.3.2.

Hi Devin, We are experiencing issue in setting up this. We set that up on AWS but experiencing below issues 1. My audio and video is not going to other device 2. I am hearing my own voice majority of the times 3. Sometimes I hear the other person but they could never hear me. Please sugggest how to fix this issue. Also, please provide a document to set this up on a brand new AWS machine.

When the audio and video isn't working, it is typically due to permissions on that platform+device. The documentation for server setup here https://github.com/devin-la/ionic-video-chat-v2-issues/wiki/Server is written for macOS, but simply changing the command from `brew` to `yum` or `apt-get` will work for whatever linux distro you are using, and effectively ec2. Hi Dave This issue is with version1. We followed everything what ubhad mentioned but still same issue.

The instructions for v1 and v2 are almost identical. The only difference is where the config is located. If your devices are not on the same network, you will need to setup the STUN/TURN servers as documented here https://github.com/devin-la/ionic-video-chat-v2-issues/wiki/STUN-TURN-Server. For v1, the setting is in call.ts.

User registration is automatic on the sign in form. If there is no username that the user entered in the cb, it will create it.

It looks like your socket server isnt properly responding to the requests. can you create an issue at https://github.com/devin-la/ionic-video-chat-v2-issues/issues and paste me the server logs?

Tap and hold the contact from the contacts page. This will create show a contact dialog where you can start a new video chat.
